  3. Loran Award – The selection of a Loran Scholar is unique in its attention to a young person’s character. We believe that integrity, courage, grit, and personal autonomy are better indicators of overall potential than standard academic measures. To discover these traits, we administer the most comprehensive and thorough scholarship selection process in Canada. Tenable at 25 partner universities, the Loran Award is valued at $100,000 over four years, including mentorship, funding for summer internships, and participation in an extensive network of past and present scholars. This year, we are offering up to 36 Loran Awards. In addition, we are granting up to 120 finalist and provincial & territorial awards ($5,000 or $2,000 each, respectively) to promising candidates.
  4. Schulich Leader Scholarship – Schulich Leader Scholarships are Canada’s most coveted undergraduate STEM scholarships. One hundred is awarded to entrepreneurial-minded high school graduates enrolling in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math program at 20 partner universities across Canada. Half are valued at $120,000 for engineering scholarships and half are valued at $100,000* for science and math scholarships. Every high school in Canada can nominate one graduating student each year to apply for the scholarship.

Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) – Students in graduate studies at the master’s and doctoral levels can apply for a merit-based scholarship through the Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) Program. Awards are available to graduate students for all disciplines of academic study at participating schools in Ontario. Each award is jointly funded by the Province of Ontario (two-thirds) and the school offering the award (one-third).
  6. Ontario Post-Secondary Student Support Program (OPSSP) – Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) provides financial assistance to First Nations students who are enrolled in eligible post-secondary programs.

  9. Ontario Centennial Scholarships – Centennial College offers hundreds of different Scholarships to international students. Scholarships are financial awards given to recognize academic achievement, leadership, community involvement and student success.
  10. Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education (OPEFE) Scholarship – Each year, the Engineers Foundation provides $153,000 in scholarship funding to 15 accredited engineering programs in the province of Ontario.
