Vice Chancellor's International Excellence Scholarships announced by University of Waikato for International Students to study in New Zealand. The scholarship allows Undergraduate, and Postgraduate level programm(s) in the field(s) of All Subjects taught at University of Waikato. The last date of applying for this scholarship is open and scholarship provide Up to NZD$15,000 towards tuition fees to successful candidates.

The University of Waikato provide a golden chance to International Students to complete their studies in the field(s) of All Subjects at New Zealand on scholarship.

New Zealand University of Waikato Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarships 2023 is open for International Students. The scholarship allows Undergraduate, Postgraduate level program(s) in the field of All Subjects taught at the University of Waikato. The deadline for the scholarship is Open.

The University welcomes applications for the Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship from international students who are new to studying at Waikato, and who is currently in New Zealand or will be coming to study here for face-to-face study in 2022/2023.  The University is currently reviewing its suite of scholarships and discounts for 2023 and will update this information as soon as the review is completed.

Students who study online with the University are not eligible to apply for the International Excellence Scholarship, with the exception of students who choose to study at the Waikato China Learning Centre (CLC) at Hainan University.

All new international students (excluding CLC students) who wish to commence their studies online in 2022 will instead be automatically awarded a 20% discount on their tuition fees and will receive a travel grant once the borders have reopened and they transfer to New Zealand for face-to-face studies.

There will be a limited number of qualifications that will commence on campus in November 2022, or you can commence on campus in all of our available programs from March 2023.

Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarships Benefit:

Up to NZD$15,000 towards tuition fees

Requirements Criteria for Scholarship:

This Scholarship is intended to support talented international students who are enrolling for the first time in undergraduate or postgraduate programs at the University of Waikato. The Scholarships have a value of up to NZD$15,000 and will be awarded to successful applicants who demonstrate excellent academic achievement.

How to Apply for Scholarship:

Applications for the Scholarship can be submitted at any time and decisions will normally be made within 8 to 12 weeks of the time of application

Applicants must upload all of the following as part of their online application:

their conditional or unconditional offer of place from the University of Waikato;

a personal statement that sets out the following (on the template):

a) In 100 words or less tell us why you want to study at the University of Waikato. Last updated 30 August 2022

b) In 100 words or less tell us how you will be a global ambassador for the University of Waikato.
