Requirements Criteria for Scholarship:

  • We are seeking an international student who is able to freely move in order to apply for this scholarship.
  • The applicant must have already received conditional acceptance into one of our relevant programmes.
  • In order to be considered for this scholarship, the applicant must explain how it would provide significant financial support and outline a plan for covering the costs of the entire academic programme.
  • We are looking for an applicant who expresses a desire to use their education to contribute to solving water-related challenges in their home country.
  • We encourage applicants to demonstrate their commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
  • It is required that the successful applicant attend two Rotary Club Vlissingen meetings per year in order to share their progress in both their life and studies.
  • As part of the application process, the applicant is required to submit an original essay that clearly outlines the points mentioned above.

How to Apply for Scholarship:

To apply for the scholarship, students are required to send an email to [email protected] no later than May 1st of their intended year of study. In the email, students should detail how they meet the criteria mentioned above. Additionally, students must attach a copy of their CV to the email.

A dedicated HZ committee, comprised of a staff member from one of the three relevant programs (that the applicant is not applying for), an HZ International Office representative, and a relations manager, will be responsible for assessing the applications.
