Eligibility of PhD Stipend OpportunitiesÂ

Acceptable Fields of Study: The fellowship is open for PhD research in any area of chemistry, whether experimental or theoretical. This includes a wide range of specializations such as organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, nanochemistry, materials chemistry, food chemistry, chemical biology, quantum chemistry, sustainable chemistry, environmental chemistry, and analytical chemistry.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible, applicants must have:
- A Master’s degree in chemistry or a related field for the 3-year PhD program, or
- A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field for the integrated MSc and PhD program, which can last up to 5 years.
Candidates should also have excellent academic performance and strong skills in the English language. Additionally, applicants need to submit a well-prepared research proposal that fits within the chemistry themes offered at the Faculty of Science. Lastly, a confirmation letter from a potential supervisor in one of the relevant departments is required.
