  An applicant who has earned college credit will be considered for scholarships based on our review of their college transcript(s).

• Scholarships for Current International Students

  International students who were originally admitted as a first-year student who did not qualify for the merit scholarship upon admission can become eligible for a scholarship based upon their cumulative SUNY Plattsburgh GPA. Any semester that these students achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above will result in a $3,000 merit scholarship being applied to the next semester awards. Eligibility for this award remains in effect each semester until graduation.

SUNY Plattsburgh offers partial scholarships to 100% of accepted international students. They do not offer full scholarships — our award packages cover between 20 – 40% of your total cost of attendance.

1. Initially entered SUNY Plattsburgh as a first-year international student and did not qualify for the Academic Merit Scholarship upon admission
2. Achieve a SUNY Plattsburgh cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above
3. Will enroll full-time at SUNY Plattsburgh in the next semester
