To be eligible for this International PhD Position, candidates should hold a (Research) Master’s degree in human geography, urban and regional planning, urban studies, international development studies, or a closely related field. Award and Benefits

The successful candidates selected for the International PhD Position will be appointed at the postdoctoral level, with a starting salary of €2541 gross per month in the first year. The salary will increase to €3247 in the final year, based on full-time employment and in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement of Dutch Universities. In addition to the competitive salary, the University of Amsterdam offers an extensive package of secondary benefits, including 8% holiday allowance and an 8.3% year-end bonus.
