The Founders Scholarship, launched by Africa International University (AIU), commemorates two significant milestones: 40 years since its establishment and the appointment of Dr. Nelson Makanda as Vice-Chancellor. This initiative underscores our dedication to educational excellence and leadership development.

The Founders Scholarship aims to empower and support 300 deserving students in Kenya and 30 international students. It covers 50% of undergraduate program fees, reflecting AIU’s vision for fostering a diverse, empowered, and inclusive community of future leaders.

Benefits of Founders Scholarships

Recipients of the Founder’s Scholarship shall enjoy a 50% reduction in tuition fees throughout their undergraduate program. However, it is imperative to note that this coverage excludes accommodation fees and personal expenses.

Requirements Criteria for Scholarship:

To finance the remaining 50% of undergraduate fees, applicants must demonstrate financial capability. Additionally, they must fulfill academic qualifications, which include achieving a minimum grade of C+ (Plus) in their KCSE examinations or its equivalent, meeting program-specific entry requirements, maintaining consistent academic performance, aligning with academic standards, demonstrating financial need, engaging with the community, showcasing leadership skills, submitting a personal statement, providing letters of recommendation, and meeting additional criteria for International Students.
