Description of Scholarship:
Wellbeing Grants Program announced by Northern Territory Government for International students to study in Australia. The scholarship allows Undergraduate degree level programm(s) in the field(s) of Industry, Tourism and Trade taught at Northern Territory Government. The last date of applying for this scholarship is 3 June 2024 and scholarship provide Up to $10,000 (GST exclusive) to successful candidates.
The Northern Territory Government provide a golden chance to International students to complete their studies in the field(s) of Industry, Tourism and Trade at Australia on scholarship.
With great pleasure, the Northern Territory Government presents the 2024–2025 International Student Wellbeing Grants Program. The goal of this program is to provide support for various events and activities that considerably improve the welfare of foreign students enrolled in classes in the Territory.
The Target Audience and Eligibility for Grants
A wide range of applicants are eligible for grants, including businesses, associations, not-for-profit organizations, international education and training providers, student and community groups, and associations. The suggested initiatives ought to center on boosting the well-being of international students, encouraging social interactions, expanding career prospects, raising community awareness of the contributions made by these students, and offering safety and mental health precautions.

Requirements Criteria for Scholarship:
International students from any country are eligible. Acceptable courses or subjects include any subject offered by institutions within the Territory. To qualify, applicants must:
- Be an international education and training provider, student or community group, association, business, or not-for-profit organization.
- Propose activities and events that align with the program’s objectives, such as:
- Enhancing and promoting international student wellbeing.
- Increasing social connections and sense of belonging among international students.
- Boosting employment opportunities for international students and graduates on post-study work visas.
- Fostering community understanding of the benefits and contributions of international students.
- Providing strategies for managing mental health and physical safety.
How to Apply for Scholarship:
Applicants need to log in to the Northern Territory Government portal to submit their applications. The current application window is open from 17 May 2024 to 3 June 2024. Proposed activities and events must be scheduled between 1 July 2024 and 1 June 2025.
Program Benefits
This program funds innovative ideas aimed at enriching the experiences of international students. Benefits include:
- Events and activities that enhance social connections and community involvement.
- Sporting events, mental health awareness initiatives, volunteering opportunities, leadership programs, and multicultural events.
- Travel costs related to events or activities (up to 50% of total grant funding).
- Fees for facilitators or consultants for proposed activities or events (up to 50% of total grant funding).
- Catering costs (food and non-alcoholic beverages) up to 25% of the total value of the grant.
