The University of Copenhagen’s Niels Bohr Institute is providing International PhD Fellowships in Experimental Aspects of Non-Abelian Condensed Matter Physics.

The main objective of this fellowship is to assist talented students who want to undertake a PhD degree at the university for the academic year 2022/2023.

Requirements Criteria for Scholarship:

To be eligible for the regular PhD program, applicants should hold a master’s degree or a US undergraduate degree in Physics or Applied Physics with relevant experimental experience, ideally including published research.

How to Apply for Scholarship:

All interested candidates must take admission in a PhD degree at the University of Copenhagen. After being enrolled, applicants can complete the online application form for this award.

The applicants must submit all the following documents:

  • Motivated letter of application (max. one page)
  • Your motivation for applying for the specific PhD project
  • Curriculum vitae including information about your education, experience, language skills and other skills relevant for the position
  • Original diplomas for Bachelor of Science or Master of Science and transcript of records in the original language, including an authorized English translation if issued in another language than English or Danish. If not completed, a certified/signed copy of a recent transcript of records or a written statement from the institution or supervisor is accepted.
  • Admission Requirements: Candidates must comply with the formal requirements of the PhD program.
  • Language Requirement: Documentation of English level can, for instance, be documented by an excellent IELTS or TOEFL test.

Award: The University of Copenhagen will provide a salary range starts at DKK 27,871.40 per month incl. PhD supplement (1 Oct. 2021 level).
